Microsoft Security Essentials is the free anti-malware software that I use on my systems and the one that I recommend to my clients.

This is a downloadable anti-malware utility that creates a bootable disc for removing malware. This is not a replacement for your existing anti-malware software. Use this utility when you can not boot your computer due to malware infection.
